Description
Responsible for overseeing the administration, analysis, and improvement of employee compensation and benefits programs. Also, ensures that salary structures, benefits packages, and incentive programs are competitive, compliant with legal requirements, and aligned with company policies and business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement salary structures and pay scales that align with industry standards. Develop wellness programs and other initiatives to enhance employee benefits. Conduct salary benchmarking and market research to ensure competitive compensation. Oversee payroll processing in coordination with the finance or payroll department. Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, including overtime, bonuses, and deductions. Evaluate and recommend compensation adjustments based on performance evaluations and market trends. Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid leave, and other perks. Oversee benefits enrollment, renewals, and claims processing. Ensure all compensation and benefits policies comply with local labor laws and regulations. Maintain accurate records of employee compensation, benefits, and related documentation. Conduct audits and prepare reports on compensation structures and benefits utilization. Keep up to date with changing labor laws and recommend policy updates as needed. Analyze compensation and benefits data to make data-driven recommendations. Prepare reports for management on salary trends, benefit costs, and budget impact. Develop and implement strategies for improving employee satisfaction and retention. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Proficient spoken and written English. Prior proven experience 5-7 years in the same position. Strong knowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, and compensation best practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with Human Resource Information Systems and payroll software. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
