Responsibilities

Wells Fargo is seeking a Compensation Consultant to join the International Compensation function within Total Reward. This role will be instrumental in delivering on all aspects of compensation to support our growing platform with particular focus on analytics and reporting, supporting HR and talent acquisition teams across EMEA and APAC, along with key activities including year-end processes, benchmarking and regulatory impacts.
This role covers all aspects of the business with a focus on Corporate and Investment Banking, along with a broad range of other commercial, control and support functions. The role provides an ideal opportunity for someone who has some experience in compensation, or in HR overall with a keen interest to join compensation, to make a real impact on the effectiveness of the employee value proposition.

In this role, you will:

  • Have an integral role within the International Compensation team and the provision of compensation advice to key stakeholders.
  • Work on year-end compensation processes for both salary and bonus.
  • Support on regulatory reporting, including Gender Pay Gap, Director Emoluments, Pillar 3 and High Earners.
  • Support Talent Acquisitions with benchmarking, buy out valuations and contract wording.
  • Manage off-cycle award processes.
  • An integral part of the role will include meeting the expectations of the control environment.
  • Support on key projects and deliverables with wider HR and the Business.
  • Collaborate and consult with compensation colleagues, internal partners, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgement while leveraging and developing expertise within the compensation functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
