COMPENSATION MANAGER - UP TO $160K + 10%

Our client, a leading global law firm, is looking to hire a Compensation Manager for their New York office. This is a high-impact role within their Global Operations Team, supporting compensation programs across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. This position does not have direct reports but plays a key role in ensuring fair, competitive, and well-administered compensation processes for attorneys, professional staff, case assistants, paralegals, and science advisors. *3 days onsite, 2 days

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; CCP certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of compensation experience; law firm compensation experience required.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, modeling, etc.).
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Workday strongly preferred).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with discretion.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee administration of global compensation programs including merit and bonus cycles.
  • Conduct benchmarking, salary surveys, and market pricing using MarketPay and other tools.
  • Support compensation system maintenance and reporting (Workday, CompXL).
  • Partner with HRIS, Finance, Payroll, Benefits, and HRBPs to ensure accurate data and seamless processes.
  • Prepare compensation reports, analyses, and recommendations for leadership.
  • Maintain salary ranges, budget models, and process documentation.
  • Assist with training, communications, and process improvements related to compensation.
