Job Description As the Industrial Engineering Manager/ Competence lead, you will play a strategic leadership role in securing efficient, sustainable business growth by leading the IE function and collaborating with local suppliers to drive cost competitiveness, capacity management, process excellence, and productivity development. You will be responsible for developing the IE team, strengthening supplier capabilities, and ensuring robust IE methodology implementation across the value chain. Key Responsibilities People Leadership & Capability Building - Lead, coach, mentor, and inspire a team of Industrial Engineers to secure strong technical capability and high performance. - Drive workforce planning, skill development roadmaps, and succession planning. - Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and foster a collaborative culture. IE Strategy, Cost & Capacity Management - Lead the overall IE strategy for sustainable efficiency and cost competitiveness. - Oversee SMV validation using GSD/ MTM systems. - Drive SMV Excellence initiatives across different production group. - Secure seasonal capacity offers through minute-based verification. - Collaborate cross-functionally for accurate costing. Productivity, Method & Process Optimization - Work with product, technologist, and quality teams to optimize SMVs. Supplier Collaboration & Capability Strengthening - Guide suppliers to adopt strong IE foundations. Digitalization, Governance & Collaboration - Support Tech teams in development of IE related tools. - Ensure governance of IE standards, reporting, and documentation. Need to have project product costing & cost optimization experience. Project management knowledge. Qualifications - Academic background in Industrial/Textile/Production Engineering. - 10–15 years of IE experience; minimum 5 years in people management. - Expertise in SMV, GSD/ MTM, Lean, process engineering, automation. Skills & Competencies - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Effective stakeholder management and negotiation capability. - Strategic mindset and strong communication skills.
