We are seeking an experienced Completion Engineer – Electrical (High Voltage) to support construction, completion, and commissioning activities at site. The role includes responsibility for safe execution of electrical work, ensuring compliance with governing safety requirements, and leading commissioning activities for high-voltage installations. This position requires strong competence in electrical commissioning, high-voltage safety leadership, and the ability to coordinate effectively across disciplines and contractors. Main Responsibilities Completion & Commissioning Plan, prepare, execute, and document completion and commissioning tasks for electrical systems. Lead commissioning activities across all phases to ensure safe and efficient execution. Review and create commissioning procedures for high-voltage and electrical systems. Establish and maintain commissioning boundaries and documentation. Participate in Mechanical Completion (MC) verification to secure a smooth transfer from construction to commissioning. Oversee punch list work and ensure timely documentation and clearance. Ensure drawings and documents are updated with changes identified during commissioning. Electrical Safety Leadership (FSE) Act as Leader for Safety (FSE) for work on or near high-voltage installations. Ensure safe work routines are established and followed during construction and commissioning. Verify that personnel have correct training, qualifications, and certifications related to high-voltage work. Coordination & Quality Review contractor installation procedures for electrical apparatus. Participate in establishing contractor commissioning teams and verify competence levels. Support training and development of personnel involved in electrical commissioning tasks. Contribute to risk identification, mitigation, and follow-up. Assess design provisions related to commissioning and ensure suitability. Coordinate with contractors, operations, and relevant stakeholders to support safe and efficient progress. Documentation & Handover Evaluate and verify procedures and work instructions used during commissioning. Support development of plans, strategies, routines, FAT/UFAT participation, and work processes. Recommend SPIR items and temporary equipment requirements for commissioning. Lead activities required for issuing Ready for Operation Certificates (RFOC) and handover to operations. Experience & Qualifications University degree in a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent experience. Experience from electrical commissioning in industrial or energy-related projects. Strong knowledge of FEF and FSE requirements. Safety- and result-oriented mindset. Ability to manage periods of high workload and drive activities to completion on schedule. Strong communication, cooperation, and team-building skills. Experience working with contractors and coordinating multi-disciplinary activities.
