Position: Complex Healthcare Assistant (HCA)
Location: Burton Upon Trent
Hours: 5-10.30pm every day, Saturday 10am-10.30pm
Pay Rate: £14.50-£15.50 per hour
Gender Requirement: Female Only (Genuine Occupational Requirement)
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Complex Healthcare Assistant to support a client with advanced care needs in Burton Upon Trent. This role requires experience in Complex care, Peristeen would be preferable and Epilepsy beneficial but training can be provided for the right candidate. There are dogs in this home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist care tailored to the client’s complex health needs..
• Support with personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks.
• Administer medication and follow prescribed care plans.
• Use moving and handling equipment safely.
• Monitor the client’s condition and respond to any changes.
• Offer emotional and social support to enhance the client’s well-being.

Requirements:

• Experience in complex care is essential.
• A kind, patient, and professional approach.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans effectively.
• Hold a Full UK Driving License with Car Insurance inc Business Insurance
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Female only role due to personal care needs (permitted under the Equality Act 2010).
