We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and in their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. For this particular role, we are creating a brand new team of complex carers to provide clinical care for a baby with a multitude of complex care needs. The position include monitoring the child overnight to give the parents some much needed respite. A wide variety of clinical tasks are needed to be maintained throughout the night into the following morning involving respiratory management of a tracheostomy and ventilation support, PEG feeding management for their medication via an NJT feed and continence care. Qualifications What you’ll need Prior to an interview commence you require a background in a complex care setting. Experience in the following would be extremely advantageous: Experience in paediatric complex care Tracheostomy management Ventilation Support - BiPap and Astral PEG Feeding (NJT) Medication Administration Additional Information Why choose us?
