Book an interview at a time and date that suits you! Job Description What you’ll do This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. Working in the family home of our client you will make a real difference in providing care and support in this varied role. The main duties of the role will be providing PEG support, ventilator management, personal care, manual handling and seizure management. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and improve skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care plus so much more! We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and in their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge. Qualifications What you’ll need Previous Complex Care experience is not required but it will be beneficial to have experience in PEG feeding, ventilation and suctioning for this role. You will have full nurse-led training and clinical support to develop and improve skills in various areas. We are looking for a care professional who brings empathy and enthusiasm to every shift. You will be someone who values building strong relationships. We are seeking a care professional that is punctual, reliable and will provide consistency for our client.
