JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part time Complex Care Assistant (Must be able to drive) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for all residents.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently when required.
  • Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software.
  • A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting residents as needed.
  • A genuine passion for providing compassionate care and supporting the elderly in maintaining their quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Manual care Driver
  • PEG Feeding, Catheter and Epilepsy experience required.
  • Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support residents in daily activities, including meal preparation and feeding.
  • Implement individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing staff.
  • Foster effective communication with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living environment for all residents.
  • Drive residents to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
  • Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
