CARE ASSISTANT – COMMUNITY-BASED (DRIVERS ONLY)

Location: Various – Care provided in patients’ own homes
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Flexible Shifts Available

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants to join our growing team. You will be working on behalf of a CQC-registered care provider delivering high-quality care packages to individuals in their own homes.
This is a rewarding role where you will support people living with a range of complex health needs, helping them maintain independence and dignity in familiar surroundings.
You must be a driver with access to your own vehicle to apply for this role.

The role will involve supporting clients with:

  • Catheterisation
  • Motor neurone disease
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Huntington’s disease
  • Muscular dystrophy
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Locked-in syndrome
  • Microcephaly
  • Acquired or traumatic brain injuries
  • Spinal injuries
  • Long-term tracheostomy and ventilator support
  • Paediatric complex care
  • Learning disabilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering personal care and support with daily living activities
  • Monitoring and recording the client’s condition and wellbeing
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Assisting with mobility, medication, and nutritional needs
  • Supporting families and other healthcare professionals involved in care

What we’re looking for:

  • Must be a car driver with your own vehicle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent, clear, and understandable spoken English
  • A caring, patient, and respectful approach to care
  • Previous care experience is essential
