The Director of Sales manages the hotel’s sales and marketing strategies to drive growth, monitor progress, and maintain a competitive market position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to meet business needs and expand operations through practical promotional efforts and sales channels.
- Manage sales and marketing plans to support business objectives and guide sales across all market segments.
- Prepare contracts reflecting current business conditions and monitor offers for repeat bookings with the Group Coordinator.
- Lead and develop the sales team, participating in hiring and fostering their growth.
- Oversee the forecasting process with the Revenue Department, compiling essential reports on sales operations.
- Contribute to the annual Sales and Market Plan and budget, implementing strategies to adapt to market changes.
- Organize and deliver comprehensive information about hotel products and services to current and potential guests.
- Produce accurate reports for the hotel and management company.
- Present monthly updates on the sales team’s contributions to hotel owners and senior management.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments, particularly Reservations and Banqueting, to enhance the guest experience and build effective sales programs.
