Manages resources in anticipation of discovery, trial and other litigation projects as requested. * Prepare correspondence, memoranda, and outlines for litigation and discovery projects * Draft answers, discovery requests, responses to discovery, basic motions and similar pleadings, under the direction of an attorney * Organize legal documents for production, depositions, trial preparation, and litigation platforms or databases * Compile and summarize relevant medical, scientific, and litigation information; incorporate analyses into case materials such as deposition outlines, testimony outlines, and chronologies * Identify and select documents for use in depositions, trial exhibits, or production * Obtain public records and other relevant documentation (e.g., medical, educational, and employment records), often coordinating with outside vendors and overseeing their progress * Update litigation teams on case status, discovery progress, and assigned tasks * Maintain calendaring or tickler systems in coordination with the BEC department, based on case requirements * Recognize and flag case-relevant information when reviewing documents, transcripts, or testimony * Utilizes and has a strong understanding of document and case management software, databases and relevant internet search tools. * Accurately track and submit time records in accordance with firm guidelines. * Provides mentoring to Staff Paralegals. The salary pay scale for all staff in this position in Seattle, WA is $78,011.00 to $117,017.00 annually. Actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, area of expertise, and geographic/office location.   #LI-SH1 #LI-HYBRID Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate and two plus years of litigation experience or no degree/certificate and six plus years of experience. * Experience in all phases of trial and trial preparation including experience with large document productions, discovery, drafting pleadings and subpoenaing records required. * Large-scale multi-party litigation preferred.
