Qualifications Essential criteria Registered Nurse. NMC Registration. Desirable criteria Recognised teaching qualification post-registration qualification or experience of teaching. Independent Prescriber Experience Essential criteria Extensive clinical experience caring for patients with one of the complex needs (Learning Disability, Autism, Dementia, Delirium or Mental Health).
Evidence of continued professional development. Desirable criteria Experience of audit, research, and evidence-based care. Knowledge and Awareness Essential criteria In depth specialist knowledge into at least one of the Complex Needs. Desirable criteria Awareness of safeguarding agenda and mental capacity act agenda.
Skills and Abilities Essential criteria Teaching / assessment skills Organisation and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills. Evidence of audit and change management ability. Computer literate.
Ability to motivate self and others. Desirable criteria Evidence of leading and facilitating change. ECDL. Root Cause Analysis
