Support Worker – Day Centre for Adults with Learning Disabilities
Location: East Riding of Yorkshire (Willerby, North Cave, and Market Weighton.)
Hours: Full time and Part time.
Connect Into Care is a dedicated Day Centre supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to join our team in Willerby. This is a rewarding role where you’ll make a real difference to people’s lives by helping them build independence, confidence, and skills for life.
What You’ll Do

As a Support Worker, you will:

• Provide person-centred care and support, ensuring safety, dignity, and independence.
• Encourage and enable service users to develop confidence, life skills, and social connections.
• Support with day-to-day activities such as:
• Social outings and community activities
• Learning independence skills
• Personalised care (within the centre and at home)
• Relaxation and sensory sessions
• Shopping, cooking, and exploring new experiences
• Behavioural and emotional support

What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Experience supporting young people or adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own car (essential for transporting service users).
• A caring, patient, and positive attitude, with the ability to inspire and encourage others.
• A commitment to making a genuine difference in people’s lives.
