A rare opportunity to join a leading organisation in Australia's energy sector, supporting one of the country's most critical infrastructure businesses during an exciting period of transformation.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you'll help strengthen enterprise compliance, lead key initiatives and provide trusted advice in a complex, highly regulated environment.

This role would suit a proactive compliance professional who enjoys taking ownership, influencing stakeholders and delivering practical, commercially focused compliance outcomes.

About You

You'll ideally bring:

  • 8+ years' delivering operational compliance and advisory within a regulated industry.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of work.
  • Experience leading compliance initiatives and partnering effectively with operational and corporate teams.

Highly Regarded

Exposure to any of the following will be advantageous:

  • National Electricity Rules (NER) and Australian Energy Regulator (AER) framework.
  • Regulatory reporting and engagement with AEMO and the AER.
  • Energy market conduct rules.
  • The regulatory interface between physical infrastructure and the wholesale electricity market.

Location: Sydney CBD

Duration: 12-month contract with the potential to become permanent

Remuneration: $180K–$210K inclusive of superannuation
