OVERVIEW

EMS, or Environmental Management & Services Ltd, service, maintain, design, and install air conditioning, ventilation, heating and process cooling systems and have done so for over 25 years.
We work directly with customers across the UK specialising in the following sectors, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Higher Education and Healthcare amongst others.
The purpose of the role is to maintain EMS Ltd quality and accreditation with third party schemes such as Safecontractor, CHAS and Constructionline together with the up keep of our ISO 9001 and ISO14001 quality systems.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks in construction (but not essential)
  • Understanding of Third Party Accreditation Schemes (but not essential)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
    Pay: £30,000.00 per year
    Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance records, ensuring all documentation us up to date and audit-ready
  • Monitor key certification and insurance expiry dates, issuing reminders and coordinating renewals
  • Liaise with site teams and senior management to ensure company procedures are understood and adhered to
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of compliance systems and workflows
  • Accurately interpret any change to the schemes or standards
  • Flag any non-compliance or high-risk findings for prioritised action
  • Work with operational teams and subcontractors to ensure conformity to compliance requirements
  • Ensure all administrative procedures align with our Third Party Accreditation standards
  • Deal with external Auditors requests and any visits from them.
