We are in search of a Compliance Analyst I or Compliance Analyst II to join our Compliance department in Spokane, Washington (Headquarters). This full-time position reports to the <> and supports the implementation and maintenance of the Standards of Conduct (SOC) Program and other Compliance functions. The Compliance Analyst collaborates with the SOC team to manage processes and documentation to ensure the organization operates within the program guidelines, policies, procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
After an initial in-office training period, this position is eligible for workplace flexibility and a one-time home office stipend. Employees are expected to continue working from their office location a minimum of 50% or 60% of the time depending on location.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Conduct confidential, time-sensitive compliance reviews and maintain SOC records.
  • Prepare and enter SOC related documentation into system of record, maintain logs, manage databases and prepare reports, as needed.
  • Provide subject matter support to Compliance leadership, General Counsel and the Board of Directors.
  • Assist with policy cycle reviews, compliance procedures and SOC referral preparation.
  • Support the development, delivery and monitoring of SOC and compliance training, including managing the resulting data.
  • Participate in compliance related assessments, planning, research and data collection and analysis, as needed.
  • Support branch and staff participation in SOC and related programs and activities.
  • Foster collaborative relationships to encourage SOC engagement and compliance.
  • Partner with legal, audit and other internal teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Remain current on SOC and compliance regulations. Work with compliance team to assess risks and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Monitor industry updates and report regulatory changes impacting AgWest.
  • Assist with regulatory research and other compliance-related tasks.
  • Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Generally, requires at least two years’ experience in compliance, audit, quality control, or related field; preferably in the financial services industry
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines while maintaining detailed logs, producing accurate documentation, reports and project deliverables
  • Comfortable using technology to manage and organize records and electronic databases
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity and ethical conduct
  • General understanding of business operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Access.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, business, finance or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of federal and state regulations and applicable statutes or acts
  • Farm Credit experience
  • Regulatory, Compliance and/or Audit certification
