Responsibilities

YOUR NEW ROLE

The Member Compliance team is responsible for providing support, guidance, and monitoring of first line compliance matters across the Member Domain.
In this 12-month fixed term role, the Compliance Analyst plays a pivotal role within the Member Compliance team, actively participating in the incident assessment function. This includes the review and evaluation of incidents for potential regulatory breaches, identification of systemic issues, collaboration with colleagues on rectification efforts, and management of underlying root causes. Additional responsibilities encompass the collation and reporting of data, training, and support for colleagues on compliance processes, maintenance and updates to Member Compliance documentation, tools, and processes, as well as the provision of compliance administrative support as needed.

Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to.

  • Conduct thorough investigations of reported incidents to determine if they constitute potential regulatory breaches.
  • Analyse incident details, gather relevant evidence, and document findings.
  • Escalate incidents with potential regulatory breaches or which are complex in line with required processes.
  • Identify patterns and trends in incidents to uncover underlying systemic issues.
  • Assist incident owners to develop strategies to address and manage the root causes of incidents.
  • Develop training materials and resources to facilitate learning and understanding.Regularly review and update compliance documentation to reflect changes in regulations, internal policies, and business operations
