Description

EMKAP UK Ltd, an FCA-authorised investment firm based in London, is seeking a Compliance Analyst/Assistant to join its Compliance Department. This is a full-time, office-based role reporting directly to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO).

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1–3 years’ experience in compliance or regulatory roles within FCA-authorised firms
  • Knowledge of AML, KYC, and MiFID regulations preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of UK financial regulations
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills

Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP)
  • Assist with AML/CTF procedures, including CDD, EDD, and SDD
  • Conduct sanctions screening and adverse media checks
  • Maintain compliance records and manage regulatory filings (e.g., MiFID, FCA)
  • Monitor regulatory developments and support policy updates
  • Liaise with counterparties during onboarding
  • Prepare compliance training materials and support audits and regulatory enquiries
  • Undertake ad hoc compliance and financial crime-related tasks as directed by the Head of Compliance
