Responsibilities

As a Compliance Analyst in our Second Line of Defence AML Compliance Team, you will support the MLRO and AML Function in executing the Compliance and AML strategy at Flagstone Group, providing day to day operational management of the AML function in accordance with the Three Lines of Defence (3LOD).

  • Policy Management: Supporting the design and development of policies and procedures for AML, financial crime and fraud risk management.
  • Approvals: Working with the Senior AML Analyst to review and approve Politically Exposed Person (PEP) exposures and high-risk accounts
  • Management Information (MI): Drafting of regular MI for Risk Committee, Board Papers and AML Team MI.
  • Reporting: Supporting External reporting. This may include the drafting and submitting Suspicious Activity Reports, Sanctions or Financial Crime reports to the National Crime Agency (NCA), HMRC, Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI), Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or Payments Services Regulator (PSR)
  • Alert handling: Supporting the review and escalation of Customer Screening Alerts and Transaction Monitoring alerts
  • Horizon scanning: Tracking and keeping colleagues informed of legal and regulatory changes, and ensuring staff understand their compliance obligations.
  • Liaising with stakeholders: Representing Flagstone to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Training: Supporting the reparation and delivery of AML, FinCrime and Fraud related training.
  • Audits: Supporting the MLRO during internal and external reviews of the AML Framework
  • Risk Assessment: Supporting the development and ongoing review of the Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment and AML and FinCrime Risk and Control Assessment
  • ID&V: Supporting the development of identification and verification standards for customer onboarding
  • CDD: Supporting the development of risk-based standards for Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)
  • Advice: Providing expertise and advice on AML and financial crime-related matters as part of new product launch, incident management and AML business as usual activity.
