REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience in OFAC screening and sanctions compliance.
  • Familiarity with AML/BSA regulations, KYC requirements, and international compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • High ethical standards and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with compliance tools/systems.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Analyst with experience in international banking and a strong working knowledge of OFAC and AML regulations. In this role, you will support the Compliance Department with the ongoing monitoring of policies and procedures, review of account documentation and transactions, and quality assurance efforts across multiple regulatory domains.
This is a key position for a compliance professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic and globally connected financial environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct OFAC screening and maintain updates of the screening process to ensure full compliance with U.S. sanctions regulations.
  • Review AML exception reports and investigate potential red flags or unusual activity.
  • Analyze and validate customer due diligence (CDD) and new account documentation in accordance with KYC and BSA/AML standards.
  • Review transaction support documentation to ensure alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance reviews to ensure adherence to established compliance procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve compliance issues and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of internal compliance policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of internal and regulatory compliance reports as needed.
  • Remain up to date on applicable international, federal, and local banking regulations and provide timely updates to the team.
