As Compliance and Clinical Training Manager, you will ensure that Crane Medical Care operates with the highest standards of governance, training compliance, and educational excellence. You will lead our compliance with regulatory frameworks such as, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), while also overseeing internal and external training provision across the organisation.
You will be responsible for implementing systems to ensure all team members are trained, certified, and working within their scope of practice, while contributing to Crane Medical Care’s mission of safety, innovation, and continuous development.
The successful candidate must hold an Enhanced DBS (Adult and Child) certification upon entry as a minimum.

You will have:
This role will require a balance of hands-on delivery (training, audits, reporting) and strategic leadership (framework development, learning management systems (LMS), stakeholder management).
You must be willing to work flexibly, including some evenings or weekends when required and have the ability to travel for face-to-face requirements.
NOTE:
Notwithstanding the detail in this job description, the job holder will undertake such work as may be determined by the Director from time to time, up to or at a level consistent with the Principal Responsibilities of the job and in any location.

Key Objectives and Measurements of Success:
1. CQC and Clinical Governance Compliance
Objective: Lead the organisation’s CQC governance and quality assurance standards.
Measurement: Successful maintenance of CQC regulatory regulation and award, audit-ready CQC files, site and equipment and governance dashboard.
Measurement: Continuous readiness for audits and strong internal audit results.
Measurement: High levels of staff feedback and competency scores post-training.
Measurement: Live and accurate dashboards showing full training history and alerts.
Measurement: Launch of 3+ new modules annually and increased external client training uptake.
Skill Area - Clinical Governance
Essential Skills - Experience in preparing for or leading CQC inspections. Leadership of compliance frameworks and quality systems.
Desirable Skills - Registered healthcare professional with clinical experience in prehospital care, A&E / ED settings.
Skill Area - Training Design & Delivery
Essential Skills - Experienced in delivering healthcare training (e.g. First Aid, Safeguarding, Medication).
Desirable Skills - Trainer status; Teaching / Assessing qualifications (e.g. L3 AET).
Skill Area - Training Compliance Systems
Essential Skills - LMS experience in building and managing; audit and records tracking; SCORM familiarity; Compliance leadership.
Desirable Skills - IT competency in using systems to create automated email reminders, digital dashboards (visual management) and tracking.
Skill Area - Analytical Skills
Essential Skills - Governance dashboard creation; audit cycle understanding.
Desirable Skills - Use of Power BI, Excel advanced formulas, Google Sheets automation.
