QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:

  • A full and current Victorian driver’s licence or a minimum P2 driver’s licence.
  • Knowledge of logistics and compliance frameworks is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Security and Emergency Services Group and Corrections Victoria is desirable.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager - Projects and Compliance, the Compliance and Logistics Coordinator has a lead role in the day-to-day management of the SESG compliance and logistics portfolios. This includes developing and maintaining strong compliance frameworks and ensuring SESG operations align with relevant policies and legislation. This requires collaboration and consultation with internal and external stakeholders.
The Compliance and Logistics Coordinator will also work closely with SESG colleagues and external stakeholders in coordinating the procurement, movement, and management of SESG assets and equipment to enable SESG’s ongoing service delivery.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Under limited direction, lead the SESG compliance portfolio, including the development, review and continuous improvement of SESG manuals, procedures and frameworks ensuring compliance with Departmental policy and legislation.
  • Develop, manage and maintain an internal compliance auditing capability to ensure efficient, effective and accurate reporting on compliance to the SESG leadership team.
  • With limited direction, manage record keeping and coordination of SESG resources including equipment, vehicles, and other assets.
  • Under limited direction, lead the procurement of assets and equipment (including vehicles) for the SESG.
