Description

Compliance and Systems Officer required for care home for adults with learning disabilities.
Location CO2 0NU
Full-time role: 39 hours per week Monday- Friday

Responsibilities

ROLE DUTIES:

  • Responsible for ensuring the policies, procedures, guidelines, systems and processes of the organisation meet and continue to meet the applicable statutory, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
  • Support the Senior Leadership Team in administering the statutory, regulatory, and compliance requirements, including compiling responses to regulators and inspection preparation.
  • Responsible for the compliance audit plan and ensuring that compliance audits are conducted in accordance with required timelines.
  • To keep abreast of the latest developments regarding CQC, PAMMS, Skills for Care, Data Protection (GDPR) /ICO, Home Office, ISO and any other relevant regulators
  • Ensure the team is kept up to date with any changes to legislation and provide guidance.

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE FOR ROLE:

  • Proven experience as a Compliance Officer, or equivalent role, within a care home setting- minimum 2 years.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with clients, staff, and regulatory bodies.
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and requirements.
  • Advanced IT skills in Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, forms, and online meetings etc.
  • HR and systems experience desirable.
