Job Description We are seeking an experienced and motivated Compliance Assessor (Lead Auditor) to join our Clayton-based team. In this role, you will conduct 2nd and 3rd party audits in line with approved codes and industry standards, while playing a key role in technical leadership, training, and program management. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified auditor looking to take ownership of key certification programs and contribute to business growth within a professional and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Lead certification assessments and, where required, manage assessment teams Conduct 2nd and 3rd party audits in accordance with approved codes and standards Carry out surveillance visits and compliance verification activities Prepare detailed quality assurance reports and maintain accurate documentation Conduct labelling compliance reviews Provide file review support across Australia and affiliated offices Lead competency training and assessment of auditors Manage and provide technical oversight of key certification programs (e.g. Freshcare, Global GAP, ISCC) Respond to technical queries from clients and internal stakeholders Support marketing, promotional and business development activities Qualifications About You Minimum tertiary qualification (or equivalent) Strong experience in QHSE within relevant industries (manufacturing, food, services or similar) Auditing experience in Food Safety and HACCP (highly desirable) Registered RABQSA/Exemplar Global or IRCA Lead Auditor Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage assessment teams If you are passionate about food safety compliance and willing to grow your career in a dynamic and supportive environment, we look forward to hearing from you.
