We’re seeking a proactive Compliance Assistant to join a respected and growing law firm based in Central Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a genuine interest in legal compliance.
About the Role

You will play a key role in the firm’s compliance function, ensuring that all client engagement processes are carried out efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements. This will include:

• Carrying out client identification and verification checks
• Conducting Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and sanctions checks
• Assisting with the onboarding of new clients and maintaining accurate records
• Liaising with fee earners to ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations
• Supporting the wider compliance team with ad-hoc projects and audits
