Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Compliance Associate, you will play a crucial role in upholding the firm’s legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve delivering comprehensive compliance support and advice across various business lines. You will conduct regular scans of new regulatory and legislative developments, assessing their potential impact on the business. Additionally, you will execute the Compliance aspects of the Monitoring & Compliance Testing programme, providing valuable insights into necessary control uplifts. Your role will also involve supporting the delivery of face-to-face training across all business lines, fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organisation.

  • Work closely the team to deliver comprehensive compliance support, advice and assurance
  • Conduct regulatory horizon-scanning on new regulatory and legislative developments
  • Execute the Compliance aspects of the Monitoring & Compliance Testing programme
  • Provide support in the delivery of face-to-face training across all business lines
  • Collaborate with other Compliance colleagues to identify and share best practices
  • Support the Country Compliance Head on the production of internal management information and regulatory reporting

The ideal candidate for this Compliance Associate role brings a wealth of experience in compliance advisory within the Banking or Financial Services sectors. With at least 2 years’ experience in Compliance Monitoring & Testing within an international bank, you have developed a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of regulatory compliance issues. Your ability to communicate clearly and concisely sets you apart, as does your practical, pragmatic approach to problem-solving. A good knowledge of FCA and PRA handbooks is essential for this role, while familiarity with EU laws and regulations would be beneficial.

  • 2 + years’ experience in Compliance Monitoring & Testing within an international bank
  • Proven experience in compliance advisory within the Banking sector
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely on regulatory compliance issues
  • Practical, pragmatic and proactive approach to problem-solving
