JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented compliance professional to join our team as Compliance & BSA Officer. This position works under the leadership of the Vice President – Compliance & BSA and plays a key role in ensuring our Bank’s full adherence to federal and state regulatory requirements. The role combines enterprise-wide compliance management with hands-on oversight of the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) program.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of banking compliance and/or BSA/AML experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state banking regulations.
  • CAMS or CRCM certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and compliance monitoring tools.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing the Bank’s Compliance Management System, including policy development, training, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Support the BSA/AML program, including transaction monitoring, suspicious activity investigations, SAR/CTR filings, OFAC screening, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure compliance requirements are met and exceptions are resolved promptly.
  • Prepare compliance and BSA/AML reports for management and the Board as needed.
  • Participate in audits, regulatory examinations, and the Compliance Committee.
  • Crosstrain in both compliance and BSA/AML responsibilities to ensure continuity.
