Responsibilities

THE COMPLIANCE CO-ORDINATOR ROLE

  • Supporting the team with updating compliance system(s) following routine compliance works completed
  • Follow a successful process of compliance servicing, being completed in accordance with the annual service schedule.
  • Compiling and issuing overview reports relating to actions across the workstream
  • Updating systems with completion dates and chasing actions both internally and externally, ensuring the system is updated accurately and promptly with all actions, outcomes and communications
  • Coordinate and schedule the activities of Gas engineers, Electricians, Trade operatives and contractors. Manage all rebooks and implement the contract agreed no access policy
  • Maintain a clear audit trail for each job/task, continuously sense check schedules to ensure key tasks are completed on time
  • Respond to calls from tenants and site operative/ engineers for updates regarding work in progress
  • Complete all written communications to customers; creating and issuing bespoke letters and templates.
  • Keeping subcontract quotes log up to date and issuing orders to sub-contractors
  • Take a lead in managing the materials on order with the supply chain and any rebooks required in accordance with material lead times.
  • Responsible for data integrity by ensuring the system is updated accurately and promptly with all actions, outcomes and communications.
  • Preparing all necessary background information/documentation and ensuring complaints are responded to intime and records are kept in accordance with Ian Williams process and policy.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING AS A COMPLIANCE CO-ORDOINATOR?

  • Proven experience in a compliance, health & safety, or regulatory role, ideally within a construction, facilities or property services environment.
  • Demonstratable strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient and experienced in MS packages including, Word and Excel
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
  • Able to self-manage workload, meet tight deadlines whilst maintain high attention to detail
  • A proactive approach and a desire to make a difference in your role.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards, including HSE regulations and quality assurance is beneficial, but not essential.
