Description Job Summary: The Compliance Coordinator is tasked with supporting various D3G departments by collecting and coordinating property compliance data for real estate due diligence studies from municipalities and various other external authorities. This role requires working on multiple projects simultaneously and aligning with municipalities to ensure compliance data is up to date. This can be a full-time or part-time position. Duties and Responsibilities: Collect the most recent building code, zoning, environmental health, and fire code compliance information on multi-family real estate properties Verifying the correct jurisdiction to collect the compliance data from Submitting public record requests as a company representative Gathering zoning verification information from local officials related to the D3G project properties Review project scopes (ENG, ENV, AEC, etc.) to confirm that all required compliance requests have been submitted Regularly update, as needed, all Compliance task fields in Project Manager software (manager, percent complete, date started, municipal contact information, any details/notes, etc.) to communicate the status of requests Follow up on lingering compliance requests in line with internal guidance, documenting follow-ups in Project Manager compliance tasks Review and maintain Compliance Tracker (SQL report) – goal of completion/data collection rates over 90% Scanning physical compliance documents to convert into electronic format, and saving all files in the appropriate project folders Communicate any issues or concerns to the Managing Director of Environmental Services in a timely manner to prevent potential delays to compliance responses As needed, train and mentor staff in support of this role Working Conditions: Standard office environment. Standard weekly shift 8am – 5pm; occasional need to work overtime based on project demand. Physical requirements: Standard office environment Direct reports: None Requirements Qualifications: High-school diploma required – 2-year college degree preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe strongly preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask Ability to display strong conceptual and problem-solving skills Ability to effectively work independently, as well as within a team Strong work ethic
