Description Harmony Place treatment facility is located in the upscale area of Woodland Hills, California. We specialize in helping our clients obtain the life skills needed to overcome drug and alcohol addiction as well as co-occurring mental health problems. Job Description Regulatory Oversight Maintain compliance with DHCS licensing regulations, Joint Commission standards, and other applicable laws, including Lead Joint Commission Performance Improvement Committee, including preparing periodic reports and ensuring that all required reporting is timely completed. Monitor and update policies and procedures to ensure ongoing alignment with evolving regulations; Perform required regulatory reporting and licensing/certification activities for DHCS and Joint Commission; Prepare corrective action after regulatory site visits; Maintain CLIA and Legit Script certifications. Conduct periodic internal audits and chart reviews; identify deficiencies and support corrective actions. Prepare and coordinate DHCS and Joint Commission surveys, site visits, and audits. Quality Assurance & Risk Management Track compliance issues and corrective action plans, reporting findings to leadership. Oversee incident reporting, risk management, and quality-improvement initiatives. Ensure alignment of clinical documentation and utilization review processes with payer and regulatory requirements. Staff Training & Support Provide regular in-service trainings on compliance, documentation, confidentiality, and regulatory changes. Support leadership and staff in maintaining compliance in day-to-day operations. Collaboration & Communication Act as liaison with DHCS, Joint Commission, and other regulatory entities. Partner with clinical, admissions, and billing teams to ensure compliance standards are integrated into all operations. Provide quarterly compliance updates and risk assessments to executive leadership. Joint Commission P.I. Committee · Compile Incident Report summaries monthly · Compile Healthcare Disparities Report quarterly · Run Admission and Discharge numbers for PI Monthly Trends. · Coordinate monthly call · Update TJC binder with all reports Policies and Procedures · Stay current on changes to Joint Commission standards by subscribing to TJC e-edition bulletins. Update policies as needed. · Stay current on changes to DHCS licensing and certification standards by subscribing to DHCS Behavioral Health Stakeholder Updates. Update policies as needed. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Nursing, or related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum 3 years compliance, quality assurance, or regulatory experience in behavioral health or addiction treatment. Familiarity with KIPU EHR, ASAM criteria, and DHCS/Joint Commission standards.
