Description Job Title: Compliance Coordinator Full-Time, 12 Month, Role Level 2 Reports To: Director of Compliance and Implementation Supervisory Responsibilities: No Who We Are: YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School is a tuition-free, public charter high school, with a singular focus on supporting youth aged 17-20 who have been pushed out of traditional schools. During our 1-year alternative program, Youthbuild facilitates a warm, loving culture that uses a variety of structures to build community, such as a restorative-justice approach to discipline, weekly community meetings, and school-wide service projects. Students are empowered to attain their high school diploma and vocational certifications, while receiving unconditional support by the staff around them. The Opportunity: Reporting to the Director of Compliance and Implementation (DCI), the Compliance Coordinator will manage a portfolio of grants to ensure that YouthBuild Philly meets all funder requirements and maintains eligibility for current funding streams. The Compliance Coordinator will maintain grant compliance submission calendar(s), enroll students on grants, support with grantor site visits, track, gather, and submit data, deliverables, and reports, collaborate with leaders and staff to gather required information and monitor compliance, complete grant exit requirements, and support the DCI with training staff and meeting state and district compliance requirements. Experience with grants and grant data systems preferred. Requirements What You’ll Do: You will… Coordinate and complete all post-award grant compliance requirements for a portfolio of YB’s grants Utilize and maintain grant compliance submission calendar(s) Enroll participants on grants following grantor procedures and systems Support with grantor site visits in collaboration with the DCI Attend required grant meetings, conferences, learning communities, and trainings Create, maintain, and utilize systems for tracking, gathering, and submitting all data, deliverables, reports, and other information to grantors following submission calendar(s) Collaborate with the extended leadership team and staff to gather information needed for grant reporting Collaborate with the School Operations team to ensure that students have all required enrollment documents and submit enrollment documents to grantors Complete all grant exit compliance requirements Support the DCI with ensuring compliance with grantor rules and regulations including auditing and suggesting revisions to policies and programming to meet requirements and meeting regularly with staff to monitor progress towards grant requirements Support the DCI with communicating with and training staff on district, state, grant requirements and ensuring that staff understand and are able to articulate how YouthBuild programming aligns with requirements Support the DCI with providing input on grant renewals and new grant applications in collaboration with the Advancement team Support the DCI with assembling and submitting data, reports, and other submissions to the district and state as needed Facilitate student/applicant vital documents trips (PennDOT, Vital Records etc.) Respond to external records requests Other duties as assigned by the Director of Compliance and Implementation What We Offer You: Generous time off (all school holidays and winter, spring and summer breaks, 1 week) Medical, dental, and vision insurance Flexible spending accounts 401(k) savings plan with an employer match Employer paid parental leave, life insurance, short-term disability and long-term disability Educational assistance and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and career growth Supportive and collaborative work environment Strong community support and involvement Salary Range: New YouthBuild Coordinator level staff can expect a starting salary of between $46,000 - $56,000 based on years of experience, education, and certifications, if applicable.
