We are looking for a Compliance Development Manager, from a Mortgages background to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a regional role, covering most of the North West region, travelling West and East and up to Newcastle. Ideally, the successful candidate will be based in or around Manchester, Leeds, Bradford, Sheffield or Huddersfield. In return, you will receive a starting salary £33,000 - £34,000 plus £350 per month car allowance.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The Compliance Development Manager (CDM) deals directly with the UK-wide network of professional mortgage and insurance Advisers. This is a specialist role, visiting the firms onsite to provide face to face support in relation to residential and buy to let mortgage case files and their compliance with; operating procedures, the Stonebridge Performance Management System and the FCA regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete Compliance support visits with AR Firms / Advisers (incuding an average of 6 face to face visits per month)
  • Delivery of Induction modules to new AR Firm / Advisers
  • Keep spreadsheets up to date and produce weekly MI reports
  • Maintain and add competence across all standards and regulatory requirements in key tasks
    These are the primary responsibilities of the role, on which the individual will be assessed and their performance measured. From time to time they may be asked to undertake other activities to support the team/company overall. These will be defined by their line manager and the expected period/duration confirmed.
    These responsibilities may be varied and/or expanded in line with business need in the future. This will be communicated in advance of any changes.
