We are currently looking for a Compliance Governance Manager to lead critical policy and procedure regulatory compliance governance initiatives and ensure our operations meet regulatory standards. Requirements What You'll Do: Develop and implement comprehensive compliance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards. Assist the organization in developing and enhancing the issues management program identified through monitoring and testing efforts to ensure timely completion and gap remediation providing credible challenge to issue details from the first line and improving reporting efforts identifying trends, root cause analysis, etc. Manage the Bank’s Policy, Procedure, and Guidance program. This includes developing, implementing, and managing enterprise-wide policies and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards, providing standardization and formal guidelines for creation and regular maintenance. Manage the Bank’s Regulatory Change Management program. This includes documenting and managing changes in regulations, guidance, enforcement actions, and other regulatory notifications ensuring regulatory changes are incorporated into First Electronics’ policies, procedures, and processes, working with internal stakeholders to implement applicable changes for the Bank to stay in regulatory compliance. Assist with regulatory compliance monitoring and lead initiatives and program development for applicable regulatory changes, streamlining regulatory change reporting. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues between the Bank and Strategic Partners and assist in developing mitigation plans. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver compliance training and ensure timely completion. Prepare and present regular compliance reports to management, providing strategies on how to enhance reporting for various subjects across governance. Other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and or college. 6+ years Financial Institution Consumer Regulatory and/or Enterprise Risk Management Experience. Strong knowledge of deposit and credit consumer regulatory compliance requirements. Ability to promptly identify and address adverse performance issues. Ability to convey ideas and thoughts succinctly in writing and verbally. Ability to present data through public speaking and presentations. Team player and strong problem solver. Ability to think critically, identify inefficiencies, make recommendations, and execute plans to gain efficiency. Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to independently research and analyze consumer protection laws and regulations around deposits, credit card, installment loans and open-end credit. Ability to understand operations and banking policies and procedures. Experience building and implementing systems and strategies for issue management. Previous experience with the Sponsor Bank/BaaS model. Prior experience in developing dashboard reporting and trend analysis reporting in Power BI. Additional qualifications: Experience building and implementing policy and procedure strategies. Experience with regulatory change management programs. Regulatory or Enterprise Risk Management Certification or CRCM is a plus. Experience in conducting regulatory reviews and/or regulatory compliance assessments. Working knowledge of regulatory exam process. Legal experience is a plus. This position is considered hybrid and is located in our Salt Lake City office.

Responsibilities

This role involves leading critical policy and procedure regulatory compliance governance initiatives, developing and implementing comprehensive compliance strategies, and managing the Bank’s Policy, Procedure, and Guidance program enterprise-wide. The manager will also oversee the Regulatory Change Management program, ensuring regulatory updates are incorporated into internal processes, and conduct regular risk assessments with strategic partners.
