This role sits within our Aviation & Gateway business division that provides facilities services for airlines and airports, including Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM) assistance, porterage, cleaning, security and baggage screening services, aircraft secure cabin cleaning, security services and immigration presentation services to a wide range of prestigious clients, within the Aviation & Gateway market.

Responsibilities

AS PART OF YOUR ROLE, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Lead and manage the high standard of required quality and compliance across the PRM contract in Edinburgh Airport by directly engaging with the different operational work streams and directly reporting to the Station Manager
  • Maintain, monitor and review health and safety policies, practices and procedures across the PRM operation. Work closely with the Station Manager in ensuring consistent standards and compliance are met in all processes
  • Lead, develop and maintain a positive relationship ensuring a positive impact on the airlines and their passengers, communication is key with stakeholders and attendance at all stakeholder meetings is paramount
  • Ensure that efficient processes and procedures are maintained to meet industry, clients and corporate standards
  • Identify and actively support the development of talent and succession for key roles of the people and promote a positive culture of upskilling and training where staff are interested
  • Ensure that staff are engaged and that open 2-way communication channels are developed and delivered and sustained across the business area
