As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Specialist to join our team.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that our drivers stay within all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, with a primary focus on Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) compliance. This role plays a key part in maintaining the safety, legal integrity, and reputation of our operations in the RV transportation sector.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, and other regulatory requirements specific to commercial and RV transportation.
  • Oversee driver qualification files, ensuring accuracy and completeness in accordance with legal standards.
  • Conduct regular audits of safety and compliance records, including hours of service (HOS), vehicle inspections, licensing, and insurance.
  • Collaborate with dispatch, safety, and human resources teams to maintain and update compliance programs and policies.
  • Coordinate training programs for drivers and staff on safety procedures, regulatory changes, and company policies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and assist in the preparation of required reports and filings.
  • Investigate compliance violations, accidents, or incidents, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay current with regulatory developments affecting the RV transportation industry and proactively recommend updates to policies and procedures.

    Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
