The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Compliance Partner to join a highly respected Australian organisation.

Reporting into the Head of Compliance (Risk, Compliance & legal function ), you will partner with senior leaders across the organisation to strengthen compliance capability, embed effective governance practices and ensure regulatory obligations are managed proactively.

This is a genuine business partnering role where you'll work alongside stakeholders to provide practical advice, influence decision-making and build a positive culture of compliance. You'll have the opportunity to make a visible impact across a large, complex organisation while helping shape the future direction of its enterprise compliance framework.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with business leaders to identify, assess and manage compliance obligations across their portfolios.
  • Provide practical advice on legislative and regulatory requirements, ensuring obligations are understood and effectively implemented.
  • Support the ongoing development, implementation and continuous improvement of the enterprise compliance framework.
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and assist stakeholders to design and strengthen controls.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and emerging compliance risks, providing timely guidance to the business.
  • Develop and review compliance policies, procedures and supporting documentation.
  • Deliver compliance training, awareness initiatives and education programs to build organisational capability.
  • Foster a collaborative, solutions-focused approach that enables the business to achieve its objectives while maintaining strong governance standards.


  • About YouYou are an experienced compliance professional who enjoys building relationships and influencing positive outcomes across a complex organisation.To be successful, you will have:Demonstrated experience in Compliance within Education, NFP or Government is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks and governance principles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience developing or enhancing compliance frameworks, policies and governance processes.
  • The ability to interpret legislation and translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business solutions.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law is preferred.
