About the Role The role holder leads the Compliance function across the business verticals and plays a significant role in contributing to and facilitating the achievement of the strategic business goals of the Company by ‘partnering’ for success with key stakeholders in spheres of responsibility. To ensure the Compliance function with supporting peers, works as a second line of defense in partnership with the business to ensure that all compliance risks are efficiently and effectively assessed, mitigated and controlled and that a culture of ethics and compliance is developed and maintained. Implementation of Compliance Risk Management Program (50%) · Responsible for the overall design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the Company’s Compliance Management Framework to ensuring its alignment with business objectives and AIA Group’s Operating Philosophy. · Responsible for the establishment, development, and effective implementation of appropriate Compliance related programs including data privacy, Investment Compliance, Sale Compliance, anti-fraud and whistleblowing, Incident Management, and culture and conduct. Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to investigate conduct matters and Incident and provide input regarding remediation based on investigatory conclusions (20%) Reporting and monitoring as second line of defense (20%) · Ensure the timely development and submission of the reporting requirement to internal, external stakeholder (regulator), and escalation to relevant Committees · Developing and overseeing control systems to prevent or deal with violations of guidelines and internal policies. · Perform periodic compliance testing on relevant company procedures and processes. Implement Culture and awareness program to stakeholders (10%) ensure all employees’ awareness on Compliance measures including policies, procedures, control mechanisms and channels of reporting to ensure the effectiveness of such measures; Build a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
