WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

This is an exciting role which affords significant opportunity for the successful candidate to make a difference. This role offers an opportunity to play a key role in New Ireland’s Compliance function and as part of New Ireland’s Risk Management Framework implementation programme.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Professional qualification (Legal, ACOI, QFA, RPAor other relevant discipline).

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Provide second line of defence (2LOD) Compliance Support in delivering New Ireland’s RMF refresh end-state design and localisation of the group RMF estate, Including (2LOD) oversight and challenge of delivery
• Ensure comprehensive management of governance aspects relating to RMF changes (to senior risk committees).
• Assess and challenge the suitability and appropriateness of 1LOD RMF implementation activity as well as providing support and guidance.
• Ensure 2LOD representation at the RMF implementation working group.

Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out but is not necessary in order to apply for this role;

• Knowledge of financial services sector, with a focus on the wealth or life assurance sectors
• Understanding compliance risk management and key controls.
• Adapting to changing requirements and re-prioritise
• Pragmatically influencing a proportionate risk management approach
