REQUIREMENTS:

  • The candidate must be appropriately qualified and acceptable to the UK CAA to act as the Compliance Monitoring Manager as detailed in UK Regulation Part CAMO.A.200, UK Regulation Part 145.A.200 and EASA Regulation Part 145.A.200
  • Ideally hold 3 years management experience in an airline or maintenance repair organisation and some of that time spent in a Quality/Compliance environment
  • In depth knowledge of aviation regulations
  • Higher-level educational qualification such as being the holder of or have held a relevant licence (Licensed Engineer) representative of similar aircraft types and complexity operated by DHL Air (UK) Ltd or an equivalent aeronautical engineering / technical degree
  • Preferably trained to an acceptable standard to qualify as an auditor

Reporting to the Head of Compliance and Safety, the Compliance Manager’s primary role is to ensure that the company’s operations, maintenance and training activities are monitored for compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements, and any additional requirements as established by DHL Air (UK) Ltd. Other duties include but are not limited to;

  • Managing the corporate compliance monitoring system and compliance monitoring programme
  • Ensuring that audits and inspections are conducted by personnel qualified and independent of the subject area
  • Conducting Compliance Monitoring Audits / Inspections and ensures that the required corrective and preventative actions are taken by the relevant manager(s)
  • Ensuring that where audit findings have been issued that adequate closure actions are satisfactorily implemented within the prescribed time limit
