Responsibilities

As a Compliance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the organization’s Compliance Management System, leading a team of advisors that provide strategic regulatory guidance to partners across the Bank, overseeing advisory execution of our compliance issue management program, and ensuring that the company adheres to all regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage a team of compliance advisors responsible for providing strategic regulatory insights, guidance, and credible challenge to partners within the bank’s lines of business
  • Oversee advisor execution of the compliance issue management process, ensuring timely identification, root cause analysis, action planning, and effective corrective action in partnership with lines of business and in compliance with applicable regulations
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks across the organization
  • Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current regulatory requirements
  • Oversee compliance monitoring and internal audits to identify issues and ensure adherence to policies and applicable regulations
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on compliance activities, risks, and issue resolutions
  • Exercise the usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations and terminations
