We are searching for a Compliance Manager who can deliver awesome! Are YOU our newest team member? This is an exciting opportunity for a management position in a “back office” function! This position is responsible for the daily operations of our Compliance Department and oversight of our Risk Analyst. This is a hybrid position, with one mandatory “in office” day each week at our Manchester Location. Expected Job Duties: Manage, implement, and ensure compliance with applicable financial laws and regulations Disseminate information regarding laws and regulations to management and staff as appropriate and provide advisory support as needed Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews as assigned Review marketing materials to ensure compliance with regulatory and business standards Assist member-facing employees with error resolution and answer compliance related questions Oversight of department functions including IRA administration, tax form processing, abandoned property processing, records retention, and records destruction Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all internal control reports Assist with the development and maintenance of the Credit Union’s vendor management program Train on all department duties and provide coverage as needed Motivate, train, and challenge employees to grow within their positions while promoting service excellence and teamwork within the department Develop department plans and goals and measure results Track employee performance and complete periodic evaluations; provide coaching and feedback in a direct and professional manner Handle personnel matters, including approving timesheets, coordinating requests for time off, completing absence reports, conducting regular one-on-ones and conducting weekly department meetings Make routine decisions on compliance issues Participate in management team meetings Other duties as assigned Skill Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in credit union compliance Strong knowledge of credit union operations and applicable regulations Proven leadership skills Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in credit union compliance Ability to motivate a variety of employee personalities in a hybrid work environment Self-motivation with excellent follow through Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills Analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel Proficiency in IRA administration is a plus We strive to provide a great work environment for our staff, including appreciation programs, wellness events, and more!
