We’re looking for a Compliance Manager to join our Sydney team. In this generalist role you help design, deliver, & oversee best‑practice compliance frameworks, processes, & controls. You will provide clear, practical guidance to various business units. Top Role Accountabilities: Act as a point of contact for business units, providing guidance to enhance governance frameworks, systems, controls, monitoring activities & policy implementations. Assess adherence to legislative requirements, internal & external policies, & standards to promote compliance awareness & accountability Monitor & report on the level of compliance with requirements of laws, regulations & industry standards Conduct second-line testing of compliance controls across non-financial crime risk portfolios, delivering clear insight & recommending targeted enhancements. Support thematic reviews across assigned portfolios, assessing regulatory adherence & identifying key risk insights Assess and manage incidents & breaches, including analysis, reporting & tracking remediation actions to closure Provide input & guidance to Group Policies & standards as well as undertaking gap analysis with the business when updates to new policies & standards are issued Support product risk assessments, investigations & breach assessments Ensure timely reporting & insights from compliance monitoring activities To be successful you will have: 5+ years’ experience in Compliance, &/or Risk Management within financial services Strong knowledge of risk & control practices & Australian regulatory landscape & its business impacts An understanding of compliance taxonomy & product compliance The ability to conceptualise, interpret & communicate clearly on its impact on the business & financial products Well-developed interpersonal skills, with an ability to build trust & establish strong relationships Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills What we're proud to offer you: Rabo@Anywhere is our hybrid way of working at Rabobank & for Australia, that means we have a blend of time working between the office & home Wellbeing leave.
