WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Previous experience in a quality/compliance-related role within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator, able to work with both shop floor and management.
• Experience producing or working with SDS, EPDs, or CE Marking documentation is desirable but not essential (training provided).

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company seeking an experienced Quality and Compliance Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of quality, environmental, and health & safety systems within a hands-on and varied role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise the on-site QC Lab Technician and provide cover for basic testing activities when required.
• Oversee and continue to develop the company’s ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 management systems.
• Plan and coordinate internal and third-party audits, and support the implementation of improvements.
• Generate Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) using specialist software (full training provided).
• Submit environmental data and documentation to relevant regulatory bodies (e.g. packaging waste returns).
• Produce CE Marking documentation for company products, with assistance from QC and management.
• Create and maintain COSHH risk assessments for all materials used on-site.
