SUMMARY

RNDC is looking for a skilled compliance manager to join our growing team. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination and management of tax and unclaimed property compliance activities of the company to ensure compliance with all ethical or regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead tax and unclaimed property audits, which includes preparing for discussions with auditors, reviewing document requests, reviewing audit assessments and representing the company at meetings.
  • Manage all unclaimed property matters including audit defense, voluntary compliance, annual reporting, developing policies and procedures and internal consulting.
  • Develop and implement tax compliance-related policies and procedures throughout the organization, verifying that all have been documented and communicated.
  • Review existing tax and unclaimed property compliance processes and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead the review and analysis of tax and unclaimed property reserves.
  • Monitor all risk-based tax programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory policies.
  • Conduct or direct the internal investigation of all tax compliance issues, file appropriate compliance reports with regulatory agencies, and consult with corporate attorneys as necessary to address difficult compliance issues.
  • Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends, and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on organizational processes.
