We are seeking to recruit a new Compliance Officer.
Working as part of an already established and accredited team, the successful candidates must be able to converse with people efficiently and effectively via the phone or face to face and demonstrate flexibility within their role to ensure educational staff are recruited according to company policy and procedures. Teamwork and accuracy is essential!

Responsibilities
  • Process DBS applications and Children’s Barred List checks on any new or current staff.
  • Monitor and track compliance checks to include DBS, Visas and Children’s Barred List.
  • Accurately update information on internal systems
  • Responding to enquiries from prospective educational supply candidates
  • Responding to enquiries from external agencies eg Education Workforce Council (EWC) Local education Authorities (LEAs)
  • Respond to incoming calls and/or face to face inquiries from any person(s) contacting the compliance team or visiting Apollo Teaching Services.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with both colleagues and other professionals.
  • Be knowledgeable of and keep up to date with any new or changing recruitment and employment policies and be proactive in its implementation
  • Participation in any training and/or learning activities as identified by you or the operations director to complement your continuing professional development within your role
  • Undertake any other administrative tasks requested of you by the compliance manager.
