JOB SUMMARY

This entry-level professional position is responsible for managing, verifying, and reporting on complex, multi-year Teacher Education and Licensure data at the individual student, program, examination, and licensure levels. The role ensures data integrity and reliability within university systems such as COGNOS, Banner, and Brightspace to support curricular approval, program development, accreditation, and compliance at institutional, state, and federal levels. Under the supervision of the Director and in close collaboration with the Senior Licensing Advisor, this position oversees and coordinates over 2,600 teacher evaluations, ensuring quality control and compliance with auditing standards. Additional responsibilities include monitoring, summarizing, and authenticating data for student progression, completion, and licensure attainment, as well as preparing detailed reports to inform decision-making and maintain regulatory compliance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Qualified candidates will need:

• Baccalaureate Degree required in Education, Data Science, Higher Education Administration, Business, Statistics, etc.

• One (1) or more years of experience in data analytics, compliance, licensing, etc. is required and consideration may be given to qualified candidates whose professional experience and expertise were achieved through full-time, professional experience and technical training within required skillsets and tools.Portfolio may be requested.

SKILLS NEEDED:

• Evidence of analytical skills and data science background.
• Possess project management skills, technological efficiency, and adaptability.
• Excellent analytical abilities, oral/written communication, time management, and strong interpersonal skills to function both independently, within a small, highly productive, team environment, large and varied university personnel and students (prospective, current, and former), and external agencies and clients.
• Advanced attention to details, problem-solving, ability to respond to shifting and potentially complex contexts and thrive within established protocols and timelines as defined via a production/workflow schedule and deliver quality work under deadlines required.
• Advanced experience in MS Office Suite, Outlook, etc. and possess knowledge on various data systems management i.e., Banner, COGNOS, Brightspace, etc., and data analysis required.Capable of learning and innovating to increase efficiency and data quality.
