  • The role:Manage end-to-end corporate KYC/KYB and onboarding of customers, suppliers, agents and trading counterparties
  • Own sanctions, PEP, adverse-media and vessel screening (IMO-based checks) through the Group's monitoring system
  • Lead enhanced due diligence on high-risk counterparties and coordinate inbound DD requests from banks, lenders, investors and partners
  • Prepare lender and investor compliance packs for financing and stake-acquisition transactions
  • Oversee compliance execution across subsidiaries and manage a network of Compliance Champions
  • Report to the Compliance Manager & Group Head of Compliance


  • What they're looking for:Minimum 5 years' relevant compliance/counterparty due-diligence/sanctions-screening experience, ideally within commodity trading, energy trading, agricultural commodities, or shipping/chartering
  • Strong corporate KYC/KYB and ownership-structure analysis skills
  • Familiarity with sanctions/vessel-screening platforms (e.g. Compliance monitoring systems, Orbis or equivalent)
  • Arabic language capability preferred; experience supporting operations across Africa a plus

About the job


We are looking for a Compliance Officer with strong experience in AML compliance and Corporate Service Provider (CSP) operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with UAE regulatory requirements, maintaining effective KYC processes, and identifying and mitigating potential compliance risks.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with UAE AML/CFT regulations and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and monitor KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes.
  • Conduct UBO identification, sanctions screening, PEP checks, and client risk assessments.
  • Review client profiles and supporting documents to identify potential AML/compliance risks.
  • Monitor client activities and transactions for unusual or potentially suspicious activity.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records, reports, and documentation.
  • Implement and maintain internal AML policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Support regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of compliance-related issues.
  • Stay updated on changes to UAE AML/CFT and CSP-related regulations.


  • RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, Compliance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of UAE experience in AML, compliance, CSP, business setup, or corporate services.
  • Strong understanding of UAE AML/CFT regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with KYC, CDD/EDD, UBO identification, sanctions screening, and risk assessment.
  • Previous experience with a CSP / Corporate Services Provider / Business Setup company is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • CAMS or other relevant AML/Compliance certification will be an added advantage.
