KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Risk assessment and report-writing skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with compliance software/tools

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field
• CAMS, ICA, or other AML certification preferred
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in accounting or consulting firms
• Experience working with UAE regulatory bodies is a strong advantage

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Compliance Officer (Consultant) is responsible for ensuring that the accounting firm and its client base adhere to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and regulatory requirements as per UAE laws and international best practices. This includes implementing internal AML/CFT frameworks and overseeing client onboarding, due diligence, and transaction monitoring processes.
