JOB SUMMARY

The Compliance Officer ensures that the bank adheres to all regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. This role involves monitoring and assessing compliance risks, developing policies and training, and acting as a liaison with regulatory bodies to safeguard the bank from legal or regulatory breaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure the bank’s activities comply with local and international laws (e.g., AML, KYC, FATCA, GDPR).
  • Develop, review, and update internal compliance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments.
  • Investigate compliance issues and coordinate resolution efforts.
  • Provide training to staff on compliance policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Submit necessary reports to senior management and regulators.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities during inspections and ensure timely response to findings.
  • Maintain documentation and records required for audits and examinations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations and risk management practices.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High ethical standards and attention to detail.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
